The reason I began this Web site was to set the record straight as to what IS and ISN’T a real Greek Myth. In my opinion, scholars have Latinized the names and attributes of the pre-Roman gods to the point that we often assume that the Latin and Greek names are interchangeable... they’re not!
Not Jove! By Jove!
Jove is NOT what the Romans called the Greek god Zeus. The ancient Romans had a different, separate, all together unique god named Jove.
A note for dyslexics... Zeus is NOT short for Jove, but Jove IS short for Jupiter.
